Mumpreneur taken on by online boutique
A Bridgwater mumpreneur has this month (September, 2013) been signed up to our new online boutique showcasing the best of Westcountry designed and made products.
Lu, who makes fused and stained glass objects for the home, said: “I am thrilled to be a part of the new site and join lots of other Westcountry crafters. It is great to see my products being sold on the website and I hope lots of people like them.”
After finding out she had a knack for it at an evening class, Lu has been making stained glass windows and gifts for more than 11 years. She has always been into crafts and previously made and sold Fimo jewellery.
She enjoys being able to turn her ideas into reality and finds seeing her finished products very rewarding. She is always thinking of new designs and coming up with different combinations of colours or materials.
Lu, who is married with two teenage girls, spends her spare time looking after her menagerie of animals, including sheep, chickens and dogs. She is also a member of a book club and runs a holiday cottage business from her home in Somerset.
We are currently stocking a variety of Lu’s fused and stained glass objects.
